Richmond Mall is actively involved in the local community through:

  • Free community space within Richmond Mall
  • Justice of Peace every Saturday 10am – 12 noon
  • Richmond Unlimited

Richmond Mall allocates free space to community groups who wish to raise awareness or collect donations for their charitable organisations. Community groups who have used our free community space include:

  • Red Cross
  • St Johns
  • Heart Foundation
  • Foundation for the blind - Puppy Appeal
  • Foundation for the deaf
  • Multiple Sclerosis NZ
  • Alzheimer’s NZ – Forget me not
  • Arthritis NZ
  • Brain Injury NZ

A Justice of Peace is available at Richmond Mall every Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm. They are currently located near Fresh Choice, if you can't find them please ask at our Information Desk. A Justice of Peace is a free public service, so there is no cost involved to engaging in their services.

A Justice of Peace can:

  • Witness your signature on a document
  • Certify copies of documents for you
  • Administer an affidavit for you
  • Complete a declaration for you

JPS are also available under Orange Light at the Nelson Public Library every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon.

Richmond Unlimited is an organisation that promotes the Richmond CBD. Richmond Mall is situated in the heart of the CBD so we have partnered with Richmond Unlimited to support the local retailers to continue to make Richmond a first-choice destination for customers.
